This is the birdy that tried to make Peter its new pop. So extremely, extremely cute. I hope Brian rescued it eventually, since when we left, he was on the phone with the SPCA.
We went wine touring on Saturday, but neglected to take any pictures of that, which is just as well, since I'm sure I was redder than a tomato. Wine tasting is fun! Especially when you're trying to figure out just why Belgian oak is better than French oak for aging wine.
We went up to campus, to poke around a bit, and here's Peter looking out of a fifth floor window at the Johnson Museum. We didn't do much poking around because it was almost closing time, but we saw some interesting photos.
Right outside the museum, they've constructed a Japanese tea house, which was seriously, seriously impressive and lent itself to some neat photos. Also this one, and this one, and an especially goofy one.
Oh wait, here's me cross the street looking dopey again.
This is my favorite picture from the trip. We snagged an unsuspecting passerby to take it, and it came out really well.
No trip to Ithaca is complete without a walk through Cascadilla Gorge, and of course, we had to take photos...

Stewart Ave. Bridge
Later that evening, we went to Stewart Park, which is on the shore of Cayuga Lake. Look! ducks! And a faboo Peter as well!
And because apparently I can't help being a goob in all of my pictures, here's me riding a dinosaur.
I neglected to get pictures from Carrie & Todd's housewarming party, but a good time was had by all, and we have to announce that rippled kettle chips are dangerously addictive.
We also did not get any pictures at my old stomping ground, the Haunt, but oh well. It was fun catching up with the Deynekas and Jack and the other assorted and sundry nuts that I used to see every week.
On our last day, we drove out to Taughannock Falls, and waded around quite a bit. There were lots of minnows which I did not succeed in photographing.
Near the beginning of the trail.
Another shot from the trail
A cool picture of Peter on the trail.
The top of the falls (which, by the way, are as tall as, or possibly taller, I can't remember, than Niagara Falls, although much narrower, of course.)
A full shot of the falls
And that's that!
